We’d like to show you a little technique with the IceBreaker Pro that's an alternative to blending and muddling. We will be making a watermelon infused gin cocktail by dry shaking the watermelon cubes during the process with the original IceBreaker Pro instead of using a muddler or blender. This is the perfect cocktail to serve the next time you have friends over in the backyard this summer. Enjoy!
Start out with the most important thing by inserting the IceBreaker Pro. We'll be shaking this cocktail up today with a Boston style shaker however you can use whichever style you prefer.
First add the watermelon cubes and dry shake for about ten seconds to break up the watermelon into smaller pieces.
Then add two ounces of Gin with a dash of simple syrup and a half an ounce of lemon juice along with a cup of ice. Shake everything again for about ten seconds and strain (double strain if you can to remove any seeds) into your favorite cocktail glass.
